领科教育上海校区计算机及物理展回顾

日前,学校迎来了一年一度的物理&计算机科学周。此次活动主要面向低年级学生。领科教育上海校区计算机及物理展回顾,同学们利用课余时间进行学术探索和研究,在物理&计算机科学周中展示其基于已学的或自学的物理和计算机知识而设计的成果。接下来,让我们看看同学们带来了哪些成果吧!

科学展之计算机科学篇

领科教育上海校区计算机及物理展回顾
计算机科学展是由五位计算机老师联合组织举办。为了激发同学们学习计算机科学的兴趣,计算机老师精心设计了一系列与计算机科学相关的活动:有难度偏高的视频制作竞赛,有检测代码水平的代码竞赛,有考验逻辑思维的趣味游戏,还有讲述了“计算机科学之父”艾伦·图灵传奇人生的观影活动。

计算机硬件展示

夯实基础知识,正确认识计算机。通过直接观察计算机硬件设备以及动手组装电脑,让同学们正确认识计算机硬件设备,进一步了解各部件的名称与实物的对应。

趣味游戏,训练逻辑

玩游戏,也能学算法。算法,在游戏中几乎无处不在,那么如何用计算机程序设计语言的语句来实现这些游戏呢?在计算机科学展中,穿插趣味游戏,不仅活跃了气氛和提高了参与度,也打破了同学们对游戏的神秘感,理解了算法与游戏之间的关系——学好计算机知识,自己也能设计出有趣的游戏。

学以致用,用以促学。为了加强同学们的计算机实践技能和应用水平,计算机老师特开展了一次视频制作竞赛。接下来,我们一起来看看两个优秀作品吧!

G2-4刘靖宇:讲解排序算法

When I first decided to make a video, I seek for a topic that people could all understand and interested independent from whether they study computer science. I chose sorting algorithms. They are classic computing problems, and really intrigue people to think. From this, I can also show how computers solve daily problems differently from human beings, and how our great mathematicians invent those fabulous algorithms. The output video is just a cursory glance at the sorting algorithms, but I hope it can deliver a chance of interest, a sense of insight and a key to thinking.

Pre-5许沁宸:魔方展示

The video has a very simple background, a boy who loves playing with Rubik’s cube wanted to share and show that Rubik’s cube is one of the most complicated and interesting “toys” in the world. Rubik’s cube was invented when there are still no cell phones or even computers. Every mathematician tries to solve it and they hardly succeed, until someone found some easy way and found the regularity inside this 3*3*3 small stuff. In combination, mathematicians discovered that it is too complicated to understand each situation, and then the different methods of solving the cube came out. CFOP, Rox method, or layers the first method was invented. Every algorithm inside the cube is meaningful and tries to achieve some purpose. Same as computer science and mathematics, algorithms in every circumstance mean different, as you are solving an equation in math, or trying to output something in computer science, the algorithm in the cube is trying to change the position until it was recovered. More and more convenient ways to solve this and the world record of this small thing becomes more and more incredible. 3.47, the present world record was broken by Du Yusheng from China, again proving this small toy could have an unbelievable ability. Developing skills requires a better cube to support, so magnets are involved in the cube. The video’s purpose may involve more people getting interested in this kind of sport which trains both your hand and your brain. Actually, I am only a lover of this sports not a professional cube player, so this video may more like a self statement with my own thought and understands towards it.

科学展之物理篇

在物理周中,物理老师不仅开展了能够开阔同学们视野、增长同学们知识的讲座,还举办了不同年级不同主题的寓教于乐的活动——G1年级的“日常生活中的物理”主题视频制作比赛,G2&Pre-56IB年级的“一个物理学家”主题的海报设计,以及Pre-A年级的牙签桥挑战赛,让同学们在学中玩,在玩中学,领略无处不在的物理知识。

为了帮助同学们找到更适合的升学方向,提高学习主动性和自觉性,物理老师邀请了两位优秀校友开展学术讲座——本硕毕业于UCL,博士就读于电子科技大学的2014届校友贺暐杰分享了他的求学故事《The Electrical and Electronic Engineering High School to PhD》,本科毕业于牛津大学,现于牛津大学攻读机器人博士的2016届校友陶奕甫带来了《Talk on Computer Visionand Robotics》的主题分享。

去年的牙签桥挑战赛吸引了众多同学参与,今年将该活动延续了下来——Pre-A学生需要接过这道挑战,开动脑力与手力,利用所学的物理知识完成本次的桥梁大考验。今年的牙签桥除了有学生参与,物理老师也加入其中。接下来,我们一起看看比赛当日的精彩瞬间吧!

经过严格的评审和激烈的角逐,共有6名同学获得了一、二、三等奖。最后,物理老师为所有在物理周活动中获奖的同学颁发奖品,以示鼓励。
