What did the children mean by "playing all day"? What role did the teacher play in their play? In what ways did the children improve their skills? In order for parents to further understand the features of our courses, CBS Foundation held a workshop on “What does an inquiry lesson look like” on the morning of March 17.

家长们各显神通,使用各种方法在不发出声音的情况下,按照生日顺序排队,拉近彼此间的距离,现场气氛热烈,家长工作坊活动在欢声笑语中拉开序幕……
Parents showed their skills and used various methods to line up in order of birthdays without making any sound to bring them closer to each other. The atmosphere was warm and the parents' workshop activity kicked off with laughter.
一个苹果引发的思考 Thoughts from an apple
家长们分别用纸笔绘画、裁剪苹果,然后利用小刀、切苹果器等工具改造真实的苹果,在两个截然不同的活动中体会“玩中学”的IB课堂。之后家长们分成劳动组、数学组、科学组、美术组来探索苹果可以有哪些创造方式,在头脑风暴中感受探究型课堂的意义。
Firstly, parents drew and cut apples with pencil and paper. Then they used knives, apple cutters and other tools to cut real apples, experiencing play-based learning in two very different activities. Afterwards, parents divided into work, math, science, and art groups to explore the ways apples can be created and to brainstorm the meaning of an inquiry lesson.
