地球上有哪些自然地貌?
地点和定居之间的关系是什么?
人类活动会对环境产生什么影响?
带着这三个关键性问题,122位学生,组成25个探究小组,提出了60个驱动性问题,历时8周,探究了5大地形,10余种地貌,在丰富、深入的探究活动中对“地球的自然地貌与人类活动相互影响”这一中心思想有了多维度的理解。
What are landforms on Earth? What is the relationship between locations and settlement? What impact do human activities have on the natural environment? With these critical questions, 122 third grader students formed 25 inquiry teams, raised 60 questions, and spent 8 weeks exploring 5 landscapes and over 10 types of landforms, having an understanding of the central idea that "The Earth's physical geography interacts with human activities" in rich and in-depth inquiry.
探究·深度理解
孩子们阅读了相关书籍,提出探究问题,再根据关键词进行资料检索,概括归纳,形成自己的观点。接着,设计了调查问卷,使用条形统计图分析影响人们选择定居地点的因素。带着探究问题,他们前往上海地质科普馆,重点参观了地质地貌厅和矿物岩石厅,进行了细致的观察。除此之外,孩子们进行了采访,采访对象定居在全球不同的地方:阿姆斯特丹、加利福尼亚、波士顿、香港、沈阳、昆明、黄山、温州……
Students read relevant books, raised inquiry questions, and then searched for information based on keywords, summarized and formed their own opinions. At the same time, a survey questionnaire was designed to analyze the factors that affect people's choice of settlement location using bar charts.Students went to the Shanghai Geological Science Museum and paid special attention to the Geology and Geomorphology exhibition and the Mineral and Rock exhibition for detailed observation. In addition, students conducted interviews with interviewees residing around the world.
五边形开放展区
这次三年级课程展的展区,采用了正五边形,向外延伸,形成一个开放性的互动展示空间。正五边形的设计灵感来自于三年级第一学期的数学几何知识:图形的拼嵌。孩子们将数学几何知识运用到展区设计中,正五边形的五条边正好对应5个班级、5大地形。真是巧妙极了!
同学们的展板创意无限。看,这里有一条火车轨道,一路向西,来到青藏高原!看,这5幅插图不正好画出了丘陵地带的形式和人类的代表性活动吗?看,这个小盒子藏了什么?原来是世界十大著名山脉的信息卡……
The G3 Assembly used a pentagonal shape area that extends outward to create an opening space. The designing of the area was inspired by the first semester of third grade geometry math class. Students applied the knowledge of mathematical geometry to the design of the exhibition area. The five sides of the regular pentagon just correspond to five classes and five landforms.
The students' display boards are extremely creative. Look, there is a train track that goes all the way west to the Tibetan Plateau! Look, these 5 drawings illustrated exactly the form of the hill and showed human activities. Look, what is in this little box? It turns out to be an information card of the ten most famous mountain ranges in the world ......
艺术灵动空间
展区的另一大特色,便是从2.8米处悬挂而下的艺术作品了!这一串串艺术作品合集中,有小朋友们在美术课上创作的地形地貌,有在语文课上创作的儿童诗,山上、海边、林中……这些儿童诗都描写了小朋友们童年时去过的地方,稚嫩的言语都是他们对周围的最真实真切的感触。除此之外,还有小朋友们向来宾提出的问题,例如:为什么巴西人民居住在高原,而非平原?城市中需要人造山吗?城市中有没有“盆地”?你如何看待填海造陆工程?……增加了展区的互动性和趣味性。
Another feature of the display area is the artworks hanging from 2.8 meters down! In this collection of artworks, there are landscapes created by third graders in art class and poems they have written in Chinese class,such as the mountains, the seaside, the forests. In addition, there are some interesting questions for our guests, which increased much more fun!
在小剧场的舞台上,小朋友们通过实验演示、剧目演绎、演讲和歌曲演唱这四种方式,阐述了自己对地形地貌与人类生活之间联系的理解。
On the stage of the small theater, students elaborated on their understanding of the connection between landforms and human life through four methods: experimental demonstrations, sitcoms, speeches, and chorus.
科学实验,追根求源
6位小朋友现场演示了水土流失实验,对照了3种不同的地表情况,用浇水的方式模拟下雨,用杯子接住流出来的水,探究了不同地表的水土流失情况。呼吁大家多种树,因为植树造林能够控制水土流失!
Six students made an experiment of soil and water loss. They explored the soil and water loss on different surfaces by simulating rain with pouring water and catching the water flow with a cup. Everyone was urged to plant more trees!
曲棍球比赛,如火如荼
体育比赛和地形又有什么关系呢?为什么两支实力相当的球队,在上海平原地区,总是上海队获胜,而在云南高原地区,又总是云南队获胜呢?原来,上海队到达了海拔较高的云南时,出现了“高原反应”;而常年生活在云南的球队,进入氧气含量相对高的平原地区,同样也会发生不适反应。没想到一场球赛背后还蕴含着地形地貌知识,看来体育运动和我们的地形地貌也息息相关!

音乐又和地形地貌有什么连系呢?在千沟万壑,苍茫恢宏的黄土高原地区,一曲《信天游》苍劲宏壮。而三年级小朋友们带来的这一曲江南小调《茉莉花》,轻盈活泼,清丽细腻。
What is the connection between music and landforms? In the Loess Plateau region,the song "Xin Tian You" has brought us the most strong and magnificent feelings. The song "Jasmine", has brought us inner peace.
反思·持续学习
聆听地球跳动的声音,这一次三年级课程展有趣、灵动,又富有深意。在一个又一个的问题驱动下,进行了一次又一次的小组讨论,完善了一份又一份的探究成果,孩子们的研究技能和交流技能得到了进一步的提升。我们期待着孩子们在未来融小的课程中成为一个全面发展的人!
