Counseling Support

Students at Dalian American International School and Dalian Huamei School feel very well supported by the Counseling Department. They say that the counseling team was able to help them improve their university applications.

In a recent survey seniors gave:

a rating of 4.63/5.00 to Counseling for helping them improve their application with 73% of seniors surveyed giving a 5/5 rating;

a rating of 4.51/5.00 for university application support with 66% of all seniors surveyed giving a 5/5 rating.

Now that the majority of our seniors have finished the university application process, our focus now is to help them make the right choice and also to help them succeed when they reach their new university campus.

With this in mind, the counselors have met with Grade 12 students over the last couple of weeks to work on how to evaluate their offers, how to transition to university covering many of the differences they will find on university campuses, and how to prepare for personal and academic success.

Mr. Mark Donagher: "I think the future looks bright for our Grade 11 students for next year. Having met with them all this month I am truly confident that they too will have a great application season next year as well! "

On Thursday, April 20 Mr. Mark Donagher, Director of Counseling Department, will host an online session to share the 2023 College and University Result. Please scan the QR code to reserve:
