6月25日,北京王府校区第六届科学节闭幕式在校演播厅隆重举行。科学节作为王府学校全面素质教育培养,提高学生科学素养的重要活动,为王府学子提供了广阔舞台。在历时3个月的科学节中,老师和同学们共完成62项参展作品,创造了历届科学节参展数量之最。

本届科学节是以兴趣为导向,以培养学生科学素养为目标。融合了科学探究、人工智能、数学建模、科学绘本等多种不同形式,通过学生自主选题,团队合作,在三个月中完成课题立项、调研信息、设计方案,实践探究和作品展示。
62项参展作品,由初中部32个项目和高中部30个项目组成。过程中以学生为主体,指导老师重在学生科研能力、创作方法上的辅助引导。不仅充分激发了同学们分析问题和解决问题的能力,还锻炼了大家的动手实践与协作能力,培养了创新意识和科学精神。
嘉宾致辞
北京化工大学科普实验中心主任、英国皇家化学会北京分会主席Prof. David G. Evans作为本届科学节闭幕式嘉宾,以“我与中国的化学反应”为主题讲述了成长历程中不断收获惊喜的科学梦。David教授从自己充满“好奇心”的童年经历讲起,分享了来到中国后的精彩人生。
颁奖盛典
为鼓励学生积极参与,并对同学们的成果给予肯定,科学节特别设立了“学术探究奖”“人气互动奖”“设计奖”“最佳学术奖和“创新创意奖”等不同奖项。
奖项评定主要从学生的探究过程、作品质量和展示表达三个方面进行。过程中要具有完整的探究周期,包括问题与理解、行动和反思。
评委老师们从“探究过程”、“作品质量”和“表达能力”三个方面,对学生的作品进行打分,包括探究周期的完整性、探究计划的合理性、研究方法的严谨性,以及评价过程中的学术诚信。评委老师还会根据学生的展板内容,现场学生的表达是否清楚、自信,来进行综合评判。

衡校长首先对同学们在第六届科学节呈现出积极探究、无惧挑战的精神面貌表示认可,并对同学们脑洞大开、创意十足的作品展示表示高度赞扬。衡校长表示,从三月份第六届科学节启动仪式上的无人机表演,到前几日清正书画院举办的科学节成果展,北京王府学校学子以满满的智慧拥抱科学、拥抱梦想。谈及参观作品展的感受,衡校长从才能展示、全员参与、积极热情三方面进行阐释。国家一直十分注重公民科学素养的提升,王府学校也通过国际与国内课程融合、跨学科融合,以及科学家进校园、太空城设计大赛等活动,助力王府学子科学精神的树立与培养。
科学节成果展
在闭幕式前夕,本届科学节成果展于王府清正书画院顺利举行。北京王府学校总校长王广发亲临成果展现场,并与广大师生就“学科学,爱科学、用科学”的创新与实践,进一步展开交流探讨。
一届届王府科学节的成功举办,持续激励着王府学子在科学项目的探究中,勇于跳出舒适区不断创新。不仅展示了王府学子的智慧与才能,还用激情点燃了王府学校的科学梦,从而助力王府学子真正学科学,爱科学、用科学!
On June 25, the closing ceremony of BRS’s 6th Annual Science Fair was held in the Main Auditorium and celebrates the deep-seated commitment BRS maintains for scientific innovation. This Fair has been in-the-works from March thru June and provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned about science through inquiry-based projects. It is a culminating extravaganza of highly-praised and remarkable natural science experiments and projects brainstormed and powered by BRS students.
During the past three months and under the guidance of their teachers, students have challenged what they’ve learned and have engaged in preparation to showcase their brilliant achievements. They took charge of a series of events, beginning with independently selecting a topic; conducting preliminary research and outlining the project; and then researching and exploring applications and trial runs; and, eventually, implementing it through to completion. This commitment to fueling students' desires to discover and innovate in the science world lights the fire of enthusiasm in students and cultivates their natural curiosities about the world around them.
Mr. Wang Enfei and Mr. Zhang Yang, teachers from the organizing group, made summary reports on-site. A number of awards were designed to reward students according to their inquiry process, quality of work, interactive presentation delivery skills, and as recognition of their innovative efforts: "Academic Inquiry Award", "Innovation Award", "Popular Interaction Award", and "Design Award".
By special invitation, Prof. David G. Evans from Beijing University of Chemical Technology delivered the closing speech to both teachers and students, themed “The Chemical Reaction between Me and China”. BRS Principal Heng Xiaojun wrapped up the ceremony by expressing his appreciation to the students for providing such creative demonstrations of their knowledge of science. He said that their exhibition projects displayed their enthusiasm to proactively discover and to innovate the science world.
