万源十年校庆学术主题月活动,万源城协和双语学校跨校区探究式教学教研活动一起来看看。

11月28日,作为万源十年校庆学术主题月活动的一部分,协和双语万源校区小学部主办了协和跨校区探究式教学教研活动, 为来自其它协和双语兄弟学校的专业教师提供了两节精彩纷呈的主题探究课。秦秋老师和各个协和双语其他校区教师都表达了对课堂的肯定与赞赏,并且逐一分享了对课堂的点评。这两节课充分体现了老师对探究式教学的深刻理解,展示了高水准的探究教学与学习。

On November 28th, as part of the Academic Theme Month for Wanyuan's 10th anniversary, the Primary School of Wanyuan Campus hosted the Cross-campus Inquiry-based Teaching and Research Activity, providing two wonderful thematic inquiry sessions for professional teachers from SUIS other brothers and sister schools. Ms. Catherine and teachers from all campuses expressed their affirmation and appreciation for the class, and shared their comments on the class one by one. These two lessons fully reflected the teacher's deep understanding of inquiry-based teaching, and demonstrated the high level of inquiry teaching and learning.

G1 地标建筑是国家的象征

在 “地标建筑是国家的象征”这一单元中心思想引领之下,一年级的探究课堂带给学生丰富有趣的学习体验。学生小组合作,完成了世界地图拼图,他们惊讶地发现怎么少了一片,原来是少了欧洲板块!这一活动激发了学生的兴趣和好奇心,也呼应了单元的主题——欧洲。然后,通过师生问答,教师引入核心任务:制作欧洲旅行“行李箱”,了解欧洲典型国家,云游览欧洲各国著名地标景点。打开欧洲旅行行李箱,里面是各个国家著名景点的工作单,学生需要找一找,贴一贴地标景点对应的国旗和地标图片。最后,老师请小朋友上来演示自己完成的国家介绍页面。

探究课堂激发学生兴趣和好奇心

Guided by the big idea of the unit "Landmarks are symbols of a country ", the Grade 1 inquiry classroom provided students with a rich and interesting learning experience. The students worked together in groups to complete the world map puzzle. This activity stimulated students' interest and curiosity and echoed the theme of the unit, "Europe". Then, through the Q&A between teachers and students, teachers introduced the core tasks, make European travel "suitcases", to tour famous landmarks in European countries. Inside the suitcase was the worksheet of famous attractions in each country, students needed to find it, paste a national flag and the corresponding landmark pictures. Finally, the teacher asked the children to come up and demonstrate the page they had completed.

G4 考察丝绸之路上的贸易驱动力及其对社会的影响

小学部四年级的老师带领学生和听课教师沿着中国古代丝绸之路,考察了贸易背后的驱动力及其对社会的影响。学生阅读信息卡片,然后在地图上画出对应的丝绸之路路线,并思考一路上会遇到的困难。教师继而提出问题:假设你作为一名商人,只能带两件物品,你会选择带什么?并说明为什么。学生进行了全班讨论,并且分享了自己的想法。

全体教师进行学习研讨为整体教学的探索之路指引了方向

Grade 4 teachers led students and teachers along China's ancient Silk Road to examine the driving forces behind trade and its impact on society. Students read information cards, then drew the corresponding Silk Roads route on a map and reflected on the difficulties they may have encountered along the way. The teacher then asked the question, assuming that you, as a merchant, can only bring two items, what would you choose to bring? And explain why. Students had a class discussion and shared their ideas.

在之后的研讨会上,来自协和双语学校各大校区观课的同事们对这两节公开课表示肯定,并逐一分享了心得体会,也提出了宝贵的意见和建议。这是自2020年12月以来,疫情之后的第一次跨校区公开课活动,各个校区的中外老师通过线上+线下的方式共同参与进来,实属不易。

In the subsequent seminar, colleagues from SUIS major campuses affirmed and appreciated these two open courses, shared their experiences one by one, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions. This is the first cross-campus open class activity since December 2020 after the epidemic, and it is not easy for Chinese and foreign teachers from various campuses to participate together through online + offline methods.

同时,在新课标的环境下,探究式教学方法和理念值得在各个学科领域广泛推行。教师要创设主动参与和探究主题意义的情境和空间,使学生获得积极的学习体验,成为意义探究的主体和积极主动的知识建构者。

At the same time, in the context of the new curriculum standard, inquiry-based teaching methods and concepts are worthy of extensive implementation in various subject areas. Teachers should create situations and spaces for active participation and exploration of the meaning of the theme, so that students can obtain a positive learning experience.
