世界文化节之走进意大利
在“世界文化节”主题活动中，BLG4和KGB的学生们在老师们的带领下一起开启了关于意大利这个国家的探索。通过搜集各类图文资料了解意大利的美食、节日、服饰、历史以及艺术史，在手工制作、歌剧欣赏、小组探究中感受到了多元文化的乐趣，感受了意大利浓浓的艺术气息和文化风情。
In “World Culture Festival” activity, BLG4 and KGB students started to explore Italy together with teachers. Through collecting all kinds of graphic materials, they learned about Italy’s general overview, food, festivals, history and art history. They felt the the fun of multiculturalism and experienced the strong cultural customs of Italy by making the handcrafts, listening opera and inquiring in groups.

通过搜集线上资料，学生们了解到意大利地处欧洲南部，其主要领土呈长靴形状。意大利北方靠近欧洲大陆，经济发达。南方为典型的地中海气候，风景宜人。
By searching the online materials, students knew that Italy is located on the southern Europe and its main territory is in the shape of a boot. The north of Italy is close to the countries of Europe while the south of Italy is a typical Mediterranean climate with attractive scenery.
意大利有许多有名的城市。比如罗马是意大利的首都，并且古罗马是世界文明的发源地之一，米兰是一所时尚之都，威尼斯又作为“水城”而被人们所熟知。
There are many famous cities in Italy. For example, Rome is the capital of Italy and actually ancient Rome is one of the birthplaces of world civilization. Moreover, Milan is the fashion capital. As is known to all, Venice is known as the Water City.
当谈到意大利的著名景点，同学们列举了米兰大教堂、圣马可广场、比萨斜塔等。我们可以说意大利是一个人文与历史完美结合的国家。
When it comes to Italian famous attractions, it includes Milan Cathedral, St. Marco Square and Leaning Tower of Pisa and so on. So Italy is a country with a perfect combination of humanities and history.

Students are all interested in the Leaning Tower of Pisa, they started to play the game of building the Leaning Tower of Pisa, make some tower crafts and draw the tower.

Popular Italian Food
大家在意大利美食探究中发现，意大利和中国是世界上公认的两个“最会吃”的国家。这里是西餐真正的发源地，罗马帝国时期的全民烹饪推崇热潮便奠定了意大利菜“欧洲大陆烹饪之始祖”的地位。意式料理的主要菜色至今仍旧是西餐的主流菜式。
They found that Italy and China are recognized as the two "most delicious" countries in the world by inquiring the Italian food. This is the real birthplace of Western food. The popularity of popular cooking during the Roman Empire established the status of Italian food as "the ancestor of continental cuisine". The main dishes originated from Italian cuisine are still the mainstream of Western food, as well as exotic food which we are familiar with and favor.

Italy has many wonderful traditional dishes, but perhaps nothing sums up the essence of Italian cooking better than pizza. Historic, simple and fresh, quality ingredients combine to create the most perfect and authentic pizza. Children become delicious chefs to make delicious pizza and experience the fun.

When they talked about the Italian festivals, they found that many Italian festivals are based on historical events and can include processions with people dressed in period costume, contests between neighborhoods of the town, flag-throwers, food, and fireworks. Most of these top festivals are free of charge, but some events require buying tickets. Summer is the height of the festival season, as you travel in Italy, look for posters advertising a festa or sagra.

Italy is the hometown of opera, and its opera history can also be called Italian music history. The opera's exquisite stage, gorgeous costumes and beautiful singing aroused children's curiosity.
