什么能力对于国际留学生非常重要，但大多数人却不知道？答案是：阅读能力。
但是很多家长只是在乎孩子的学习成绩，班级名次，下课后送孩子到各种补习班，却严重忽略了培养孩子阅读的习惯，没有给到孩子大量的阅读时间。
阅读对孩子有什么好处？
1.阅读能够增强孩子的问题的理解能力，阅读能力强，学习更轻松轻松。
2.阅读能够培养孩子的专注力，关注集中才能在孩子有效的时间吸收到所有知识和要点，在学习上更高效，集中，成绩也突出。
3.大量阅读的孩子，词汇量丰富，大脑思维能力强，语言组织能力和问题解决能力也强。阅读，影响着孩子的一生。
用一句话总结人为什么要阅读：“小的时候我吃了很多东西，其中大部分我已记不清是什么，但是我知道，他们已经变成我现在的骨和肉”。读书，亦如此，它在不知不觉中影响着你思想，你的言行，你的形象。
很多孩子在中学阶段或者上了国际学校时期，很难追上同年龄段的学生，学习很吃力，其实与阅读习惯有着非常大的关系。在孩子6岁前是培养孩子阅读习惯的关键时期， 7-9岁（小学一二年级）是提高阅读理解能力的关键时期，想要为孩子以后的好成绩打下基础，那在这时期一定不能忽略孩子的阅读习惯。坚持阅读对孩子的一生都有很大帮助，一定要抓住阅读的黄金期和关键期，之持以恒的进行下去。
