在英语阅读课中，单元一的主题是“Life in a Day” 。通过单元中两篇文章和一个视频材料的学习，同学们受到启发并且用视频的形式记录他们一天的生活。
布置这个作业，我的设想是希望学生可以通过记录一天的生活后感悟到，平凡的一天也可以是不平凡的一天，我们需要感恩身边稀松平常的小事。课文中提到对于一部分人来说很普通的小事对于另一部分人来说可能是很稀有的一件事。例如，早上起来能有干净的水源使用，每一顿饭都能吃饱，有干净的衣服穿，等等。同学们也在此次作业中学习了如何团队合作完成一个作业，从而增强了团队合作的能力。

It tells us something could be normal to one person but extraordinary to another. I also learned that people love and fear different things.
