康德双语学校领导团队由在上海教育界享有极高声望和影响力的荣誉校长、原上海复旦附中校长谢应平先生领衔。执行校长Dr Oliver Kramer为上海首批爱德思学校校长，曾在英国伊顿公学工作11年，并在中国有14年校长经验。学校领导团队用丰富的教学和管理经验成就每一位康德学子的成长。
学校教师团队由中、外教共同组成，其中不少教师毕业于国内外名牌大学。中外方教师均持有相应教师资格证和课程执教资质，共同营造学校国际化的人文环境和交流氛围。

初中部义务教育课程采用统编教材，由中方老师按照课程标准实施教学，确保学生顺利完成九年义务教育，并通过上海市初中毕业统一学业考试，取得初中毕业证书。
融合课程实行全外教、全英文教学，重点在于培养学生学科英语词汇的积累，以及英语思维和表达上的自信。自创校以来，我校在艺术、科学等学科的融合课程教学中努力打造学科特色，通过主题性、项目化等学习方式，全面提升学生的学习兴趣和创新思维，为今后可持续学习多元化的国际课程打下坚实的基础。

Shanghai Concord Bilingual School was established in central districts in Shanghai, Huangpu, adjacent to the Bund and Xintiandi. SCBS is the first bilingual private school recruiting students from Grades 1 to 12 in the region. The pursuit of academic excellence makes us join hands with UK's premier private school, Concord College UK. SCBS takes ‘Harmony, Trust and Decency’ as its core values. Its goal is to foster the students who not only have their regional, cultural and national identity with an international perspective but also are physically and mentally healthy with integrity and strong abilities. The SCBS management team is led by the Honorary Principal, former Principal of the High School affiliated with Fudan University, Mr Yingping Xie, who has a leading reputation and considerable influence in the field of education in Shanghai. The Executive Principal Dr Oliver Kramer was the Principal of one of the earliest Edexcel schools in Shanghai. He also has 11 years of experience teaching at Eton College, UK and 14 years as a Principal in China. Our management team will further help SCBS to achieve its goals to become a renowned centre of excellence and for its students to fulfil their potential for the future.
Our teaching team consists of both local and expatriate teachers who have teaching qualifications. Most of them are graduates from internationally renowned universities. With the local academic leaders and dynamic teachers with great potential, our community enjoys an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
At Primary, our Chinese and expatriate teachers work collaboratively to deliver an integrated curriculum in a 21st century learning environment. Our courses are divided into the Compulsory Education Curriculum, the International Curriculum, and Project-Based Learning (PBL). We aim to ensure that all the pupils in our care are happy, confident and enthusiastic learners who will realise their unique potential in a supportive environment.
As a bilingual school that recruits students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, we also offer a transition curriculum that let our students not only smoothly adapt to middle school and high school education but also receive professional instructions.
State-compiled textbooks are used for the Compulsory Education courses, which are delivered by our Chinese teachers according to the curriculum standard, in order to help students smoothly complete the nine-year compulsory education and participate in the Zhongkao examination.
Our bilingual curriculum approaches the same syllabus from different angles, which is conducive to the overall improvement of students’ learning abilities. This is designed to help our students accumulate subject-based English vocabulary and boost their confidence in English expression. Our Art and Science courses exercise our students' innovative thinking skills through project-based learnings, which ensures they have sufficient confidence and skills to take on the challenge of the international programme.
So far,our graduates have been admitted by all G5 universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, IC, LSE and UCL. Many others also heard from prestigious universities in the US, Canada and Hong Kong, China.
